Tengo Non Solo

Tengo non solo

You must cross the busy street to get there
There isn’t a clear path really
Where we cross there is no light
And it seems just too far to find just one

Across the way the music calls to you
bridge littered with people
Dancing, playing bongos, strolling hand-in-hand
A lone dog, as foretold

Drop down the stairs on the other side
Hold your breath
There is the sun baked stench of urine
Music calls, bounces off the water like skipped rocks

Pilgrimage is complete
Who was it who came here
To stand alone among the dancing?
Tengo Non Solo
